Depuis sa création, la compagnie «Les Daltoniens» mène une recherche spécifique qui associe cultures urbaines et arts numériques. Fondée en 2004 par Yannick Guégan, la compagnie les Daltoniens assure la promotion et le développement du «Human beatbox » (5ème élément de la culture hip-hop) dans le monde entier.
Les Daltoniens évoluent aussi bien dans les théâtres et les écoles, que dans les festivals de théâtre de rue, de Hip-hop et d’arts numériques. Les spectacles de la compagnie rassemblent tant un public familial qu’un public de jeunes, grâce à la pluridisciplinarité des arts qu’ils fusionnent : nouvelles technologies, danse hip-hop, human beatbox, théâtre, v-jaying et graffiti numérique.
Résolument contemporaine, et en constante évolution, la compagnie les Daltoniens parvient aujourd’hui à tisser un lien intergénérationnel entre la culture hip-hop des années 80 et l’avènement de l’ère numérique.
